Seven Year Program
1 Community Service: For a period of one month per year, for all seven years of the program, the student must volunteer in a community service project.
2 Corporate Intership: For a period of one month per year, for all seven years of the program, the student must intern and apprentice in a corporate setting.
3 Student Investment Program: Each student recieves a grant of $2,500 placed in an investment account. Students will make their own final investment decision with the approval of thier investment councilors and mentors.
4 Computer Training: Students will recieve a Gateway computer at the time of thier acceptance into the Foundation scholarship program and will be given computer training and Internet access.
5 Monthly Business Dinner: Once per month the student will attend a business dinner with his or her mentors, Board members, and members of the business comunity.
6 Annual Essay: Students are required to write one essay every year for seven years, detailing the problems that they see in their resective communities and what they could do to assist in the betterment of their neighborhoods.
7 Student-Mentor Playbook: Students are required to keep thier playbook for seven years and treat it as their journal. They are asked to "Think with pride, write with pride, and work with pride."
