Audwynn Jermaine Newman (State of the NFL)
Audwynn Newman is a full-time artist and has run his own studio for 30 years the first 5 in Massachusetts the last 25 in Indianapolis. A graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art.
His career spans comic books, toy design, and entertainment concept art. As an illustrator, Audwynn has penciled titles for Marvel, DC, and Valiant Comics, in addition to self-publishing his own work. As a toy designer for Marvel’s Toy Biz, he contributed to the X-Men, Mutant Villains, Planet of the Symbiotes, and Spider-Man lines.
As a concept artist for Hasbro’s Fantasy Factory, Audwynn designed weapons, vehicles, and hardware for licensed properties including Batman Beyond, DinoMen, Iliad, Dungeons & Dragons, and Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect. His film concept work includes contributions to DreamWorks properties such as Small Soldiers, Cowboys & Aliens, and American Invasion (also known as Invasion America).
Today, Audwynn travels nationally throughout the year, exhibiting and selling his original work at art shows across the country. He is a member of the Speedway Arts Council in Speedway Indiana.
